CDK Global has taken steps to boost integration with car dealers various DMS operating platforms with the roll-out of a new Partner Programme which will see it work with five UK tech companies.
Dealerweb, eDynamix, SalesMaster, Force24 and Motor Document Solutions have joined enquiryMAX as official partners of the software specialist and dealers look set to benefit through the provision of enhanced solutions to mutual customers.
CDK Global said in a statement that the new Partner Programme would also allow retailers’ “disparate IT systems to work with their dealer management system, making data available in the right system at the right time and eliminating re-keying”.
It said that the development would increase efficiency and help deliver a truly connected car buying and ownership experiences.
Jonathan Hales, UK partner manager at CDK Global, said: “Connections are crucial to automotive commerce and they are at the heart of delivering connected customer experiences.
“This is why we are building a Partner Programme that brings these applications together under an open platform, enabling integration with CDK DMS products to provide easy access for dealers to deliver the very best car buying experience.”
Among the integrations already rolled out with CDK Global’s new partners, is Dealerweb Showroom, a platform which delivers lead management, offer creation, profit calculation and analysis, FCA compliance and real-time activity reporting.
MOTCleanse, from eDynamix, meanwhile, enables dealers to check vehicle records from the CDK DMS against DVSA data to ensure the accuracy of MOT data.
SalesMaster operates the vehicle inventory system, StockBook, which aggregates real-time stock data into a user-friendly platform. By integrating with CDK, SalesMaster will be able to further enhance StockBook data with a direct link for all DMS stock vehicle information, the two-way integration will also allow the updating of reserved vehicles in real time.
Motor Document Solutions’ iDealFILE system provides the automotive industry with an electronic deal file platform that turns unsecured manual paper-based documents into secure, visible, traceable and auditable data.
Force24 provides an automated marketing platform which allows dealers to intelligently target customers and prospects via email, SMS, PPC, social media and microsites in order to generate sales leads.
Hales said: “We have six strong partners in the UK now developing the integration of their applications with our platform, more in South Africa and Finland, and yet more to announce in the coming weeks and months.
“We are also looking to expand our portfolio, and in 2019 we will be focusing on delivering new capabilities in the parts and vehicle health check areas.”
