Its efforts span a whole range of actions to ensure its reach across the whole of its workforce regardless of stage in life.

These include making improvements to its early careers strategy to attract and retain a diverse group of professionals at the start of their working life at the same time as investing resources to become a menopause-friendly employer.

TrustFord has also made significant progress in reducing the gender pay gap as part of its commitment to equitable treatment for all employees.

This year TrustFord will be developing a strategy to support the physical and mental health of its employees, recognising that well-being is an essential part of an inclusive workplace.

At the same time, it plans to support newly launched network groups for under-represented colleagues, providing them with a platform to voice concerns.

These objectives indicate TrustFord’s continued commitment to enhancing their efforts to create a diverse, inclusive and supportive workplace for all.

At its heart, this is a dealership that places value on a healthy work/life balance by putting staff physical and mental well-being front and centre. This guiding principle will no doubt contribute to its ongoing success and industry recognition as a thriving business which cares for its people.

And, while its commitment to diversity, inclusion and employee well-being along with its progress in key metrics, has already set it apart in the industry, the business is not content to sit back and rest on its laurels.

Indeed, TrustFord has shown how its many initiatives are having a positive impact through improved retention and diversity metrics, indicating where future activity can be best focussed.

An example of how the business is working hard to perfect what is a winning formula is its action to improve self-identification data to be able to better understand the diversity of its workforce and tailor initiatives accordingly.

It is activity such as this which has contributed to TrustFord’s recognition once again as an award winner and which stands it in good stead to gain further recognition in the future.
