Automotive technology company Zerolight is set to present a future of ‘mobile and immersive technologies’ in the car retail environment with live demonstrations at Automotive Management Live 2018.
Zerolight will aim to put marketing content creation into the hands of car retailers with the launch its new cloud-based Spotlight suite of content creation applications designed to give dealers the tools to create pictures, videos, microsites, and brochures.
The new product will be showcased at Zerolight’s main booth, on stand D36, at the one-day expo which takes place at Birmingham NEC on November 8.
At the technology firm’s second booth, stand FDZ1 in the CDK Global-sponsored Future Dealership Zone, Zerolight will also be exhibiting its Intelligent Car Configurator.
Configuration recommendations are suggested based on the customer’s online configuration history and in-store the customer can virtually explore the car in 4K, VR, and AR.
As sponsors of the Vision of the Future seminar, Zerolight’s chief marketing officer, François de Bodinat, will also be taking part in the Vision of the Future Insight Theatre debate.
And de Bodinat said that immersive technologies are set to transform the car dealership environment. He said: “The traditional models of automotive retail are quickly being revised as modern technological advances enable OEMs and their dealers to significantly enhance the customer experience through digital means.
“We believe the future of the industry lies in this wave of advancements, with mobile and immersive technologies presenting several unique opportunities to dealers.
“Soon, the landscape of automotive retail will be radically different, with today’s fragmented customer journey replaced with seamless processes which is continuous and consistent across all channels.
“As a result, personalisation of the entire car-buying experience will become the norm, with early leaders gaining a significant advantage.
“With all product information literally at their fingertips, customers will come in-store in search of unique experiences that they cannot access at home.
“To fulfil customer expectations, dealers will utilise cutting-edge technologies like AR, VR, and MR to offer increasingly engaging and interactive experiences which will enable customers to merge the digital and ‘real’ worlds.”
Free for dealers and manufacturers to attend, there’s still time to book your place at Automotive Management Live 2018.
