Manhiem has appointed Mazda UK’s used car and remarketing manager Tamara Brown to its sales leadership team.

She will initially hold the role as corporate and manufacturer sales director, covering for Hayley Warrington who is on maternity leave.

Brown joined the Cox Automotive business in August. She has previously held multiple dealer facing roles in sales and franchising and was instrumental in developing Mazda’s used car field team, delivering year on year improvements in dealer used car profitability.

She also managed the process for refurbishment, pricing and sale of all Mazda UK used cars, launching the Mazda National Used Car Locator.

Prior to joining Mazda in 2002, Brown worked with Ford Credit Europe.

At Manheim, Brown will focus on managing and achieving volume and revenue growth targets, strengthening the contract portfolio, and working in partnership with Manheim customers and other Cox Automotive businesses to deliver the best possible experience and value.

Pete Bell, MD of Manheim, said: "Tamara joins an experienced and well-respected sales team, which, combined with her extensive and proven expertise in the sector will set her up for success."

"She brings with her a wealth of knowedge of the remarketing space, and her dealer-facing experience, and manufacturer knowledge will be invaluable as part of our future plans to build on the outstanding results we are already achieving."
