The one-day trade expo is once again hosted in partnership with the National Franchised Dealers Association and takes place on November 9, at Birmingham NEC.

Exploring the challenges facing retailers, new for this year’s event are an additional two insight theatres seminars covering the new EU data protection rules General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and used cars whilst the popular F&I seminar returns.

Dealers will also be able to take advantage of AM’s new profit clinic where one-to-one advice on how to maximise revenue opportunities will be available from the event’s expert partner. Industry debates will also take place when panellists from the sector will discuss the hot topics of the day.

A host of best practice seminars delves into the finer points of meeting the expectations of today’s car buyer provided by some of the sector’s leading suppliers and includes video, online finance, live chat, social media and websites. The best practice seminars are designed to offer dealers genuine insights and highlight the trends which affect the industry.

The NFDA will provide insights into its twice-yearly Dealer Attitude Survey which acts as a barometer for the sector reflecting dealer views on their manufacturer partners including business performance and investment requirements.

The exhibition hall once again plays host to a range of suppliers in the industry where dealers can discover the latest technologies available as well as take advantage of product demonstrations allowing dealers to compare different services under one roof in one day.

Last year more than 450 visitors attended the event and this year even more are expected to attend from both the franchised and independent sector.

AM editor Tim Rose said: “The success of the expo last year as well as the support from suppliers and their eagerness to register to return showed Automotive Management Live was exactly the right event the industry needed.

“In devising our content for the event this year, we have created an Advisory Board, made up of senior automotive retail directors, and their input has been invaluable in identifying the most important topics and issues which will be tackled by our range of speakers and seminars.

“The expo also provides the opportunity to compare and contrast a number of suppliers quickly and easily, offers access to a number of experts to help dealers further improve customer service, performance and profitability, and enables dealers to network with colleagues.

“This year’s event is shaping up to be on a much larger scale with wider support from industry suppliers and dealers already registering to visit in large numbers. With so much on offer and an extensive number of seminars covering hot topics, trends and influences in the sector, we are confident the event will become known as the one not to be missed among retailers.”#

Once again, the expo is free for dealer and manufacturer delegates to attend, although pre-registration is required.

Automotive Management Live promises to be high profile, fast paced, insightful, enjoyable and essential for dealers looking to maintain their competitive edge.
