Car care brand Autoglym has teamed up with self-service solutions specialist Tjekvik to expand the availability of its products across a wide network of UK dealerships.

Under the new agreement, Autoglym's car care products and services will be promoted and sold through Tjekvik’s digital check-in platforms at dealerships.

Tjekvik’s aftersales check-in systems enable customers to check vehicles in and out digitally, whether from home on their own devices or at a Tjekvik kiosk in the dealership.

During this process, dealers can present a selection of value-added products and services to customers, with Autoglym’s offerings integrated seamlessly into the check-in journey.

Dealers will have the flexibility to choose which Autoglym products they wish to offer, which will then be delivered directly from Autoglym’s Letchworth headquarters.

The initial product lineup will include popular items such as Autoglym’s foaming car wash, interior shampoo, fast glass, odour eliminator, screenwash, and de-icer.

In the first half of 2024 alone, Tjekvik’s technology helped UK dealers sell over 141,000 value-added items, generating an impressive £7 million in additional revenue with dealers seeing an average monthly boost of £1.1 million.

The collaboration also introduces Autoglym’s LifeShine protection system to Tjekvik's network. LifeShine is a dealer-applied vehicle protection solution that offers a three-part process to safeguard upholstery, paintwork, and glass.
