WSG partners with Loveelectric on EV cosmetic and alloy protection

Warranty Solutions Group (WSG) has announced an exclusive partnership with EV salary sacrifice provider Loveelectric to offer comprehensive cosmetic and alloy protection as part of its optional zero risk guarantee cover.

Available to all new customers, this protection ensures drivers can maintain their vehicles in top condition throughout the lease term, avoiding unexpected damage charges at the end of the lease while assuring employers that these costs will not be passed back to them.

Founded in 2021 by Steve Tigar (pictured), Edinburgh-based Loveelectric is committed to making electric cars affordable and offers savings of up to 60% on the monthly lease cost of any new or used electric vehicle, with leases including a fully comprehensive insurance and maintenance package.

With WSG’s specialist cosmetic and alloy protection, Loveelectric customers can avoid surprise repair costs, maintain their vehicle’s condition, and reduce end-of-lease reconditioning expenses, making EV leasing even more affordable, predictable, and hassle-free.

Simon Drown, head of specialist products at WSG, said the protection significantly reduces and, in many cases, eliminates minor cosmetic repair costs and ensures the car meets pre-sale standards at the end of the lease.

The cosmetic protection covers scratches or dents up to 30cm in diameter and stone chip repairs up to 3mm, with a maximum claim limit of £3,000, including VAT. If a mobile repair is not possible, there is a £300 contribution toward a body shop repair. All repairs are guaranteed for the entire lease period, and customers receive a complimentary annual bodywork inspection. A nationwide mobile repair network ensures fast and hassle-free service.

The alloy protection covers painted, powder-coated, diamond-cut, matte-finish, and powder chrome alloy wheels, with up to 10 repairs or refurbishments per lease term. If a repair is not possible, there is a £200 contribution per wheel toward a replacement. Like the cosmetic cover, all repairs are guaranteed for the entire lease period, with a complimentary annual alloy inspection and a nationwide mobile repair network offering a seamless claims process.
