Santander Consumer UK formally appoints Adam Goldhagen as CEO

Santander Consumer UK has formally appointed Adam Goldhagen as its chief executive after serving in the position on an interim basis since June 2024.

He takes up the position with immediate effect.

Goldhagen has extensive experience of Santander Consumer UK, having worked within the Santander Group for 15 years including his time as chief executive at Santander Consumer Finance’s joint venture PSA Finance.

Tim Hinton, chair of Santander Consumer UK, said: “Adam’s extensive experience together with a proven ability to drive our company’s transformation make him the perfect choice to take SCUK forward. 

“Adam has made a strong impact as our interim CEO, taking over from Vik Hill who had led the business for over 20 years.

“We can now look forward to a period of continued progress under his leadership and the wider executive team.”
