The Polestar 4 crossover has gone on sale in the UK with prices starting at £59,990.
Positioned as a potential global bestseller for the brand, it competes with the likes of the Porsche Macan, Mercedes EQE, and Tesla Model Y and is positioned between the Polestar 2 hatchback and 3 SUV in size and pricing.
European models feature a single 100kWh battery size, with options for one or two electric motors.
The entry-level 'Long Range' single motor version is priced at £59,990, offering a WLTP range of 379 miles, power rated at 286bhp, and 343Nm of torque.
The dual motor variant, priced at £66,990, enhances power and torque to 536bhp and 686Nm, with a slightly lower projected range of 360 miles. Notably, the dual motor can decouple from the front motor when not in use.
Both variants come equipped with a heat pump to minimise battery losses in colder temperatures.
Both variants feature a 200kW peak DC charging capability and vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality, allowing power to be drawn from the battery for external equipment.
Standard features across all models include a 15.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, photochromic roof, 20-inch wheels, and high-end LED headlights.
An optional Pro Package increases wheel size to 21 inches. The dual motor variant offers a Performance Package with 22-inch wheels, gold accents, and a firmer suspension.
Plus Pack, including features like a 14.7-inch head-up display and a Harman Kardon audio system, is included for UK cars at no additional cost. Additional equipment packages, such as the Pro Pack and Nappa leather upgrade, are also available.
Deliveries are scheduled for August.
