Manheim Auction Services is set to launch its new fortnightly sales programme at its Gloucester super centre on October 24.
The event which starts at 10am will feature over 600 units, valued at approximately £6.5 million, consisting of vans, trucks, and plant equipment from 48 vendors. The auction is to be conducted both onsite at the 9-acre site, located off the M5 near Dursley, Gloucestershire, and online via the Simulcast platform.
Matthew Davock, director of commercial vehicles at Manheim, said: “The new sales programme will bring a fresh dynamic to the van, truck, and plant auction world, with an outstanding first sale featuring almost 50 vendors.”
Stock will come from companies such as Novuna, Arval, Zenith, VWFS, and Enterprise, among others. Buyers can attend in person or online via the Simulcast platform.
Rob Atkinson, director of HGV and industrial at Manheim, highlighted the return of live lane auctions for trucks and plant machinery: “Over the last year, we’ve seen truck volumes and customer interest grow significantly, and we’re excited to officially open our dedicated drive-through auction site to continue demonstrating that Manheim Auction Services continues to lead the market.”
