Hendy Van and Truck is pledging its support to a national charity dedicated to assisting construction workers and tradespeople.
For the next year, Band of Builders (BoB) will have access to a Hendy Ford Transit Custom and Vauxhall Vivaro to help deliver life-enhancing projects for those facing challenging circumstances.
Established in 2016, Band of Builders has been providing practical, financial, and wellbeing support to members of the UK construction industry.
David Graham, Hendy's head of business performance, said: “Many of our customers are in the construction industry. From large fleet operators to local small businesses, this charity is a perfect fit for us. The charity does an incredible job supporting those in need, and we wanted to be involved in something that resonates with a key area of our business.”
Gavin Crane, CEO of Band of Builders, added, “We are forming a great charity partnership with Hendy Van and Truck. Their generosity in providing us with two new BoB-liveried vans will make a massive difference, enabling us to take BoB on the road.
"As a charity, we visit construction sites, attend trade shows, and deliver projects across the UK, so the vans will be essential in helping us transport materials to where they are needed. We thank Hendy Van and Truck for their support, allowing us to continue our practical projects to help members of the UK construction industry and their families battling illness or injury.”
