Dealers and bodyshops are now being invited to submit entries for the second annual CitNOW Video Awards, being held in London on July 6.
The awards was launched with the aim of recognising companies and industry professionals who have embraced the use of video and make best use of the opportunities it offers.
The CitNOW Video Awards will be presented in seven categories, with winners selected by a panel of national automotive industry experts, and chaired by CitNOW chairman Andrew Howells.
Submissions will be accepted from any employee or manager from any dealership or bodyshop that uses video technology, whether powered by CitNOW or not.
Entries must have been filmed between June 24, 2015 and April 30, 2016, and can be submitted on www.citnowawards.com.
The seven categories for the CitNOW Awards 2015/2016, are:
Best CitNOW Workshop Video
Best CitNOW Sales Video
Best CitNOW Bodyshop Video
Best CitNOW Web Video
Best Overseas CitNOW Video
Most Creative Use of CitNOW Video
Best Overall CitNOW Video
Past winners include Sytner Audi Nottingham (Best Overall CitNOW Award and Best CitNOW Sales Video Award) and Ridgeway (Best CitNOW Workshop Video and a highly commended in the Best CitNOW Sales Video category).
“Last year’s inaugural CitNOW Video Awards were fully-subscribed and we are confident that the event will be bigger and better this time around,” said Alistair Horsburgh, CitNOW chief executive.
“The success of last year just goes to show the importance of video technology in our industry and we want to showcase those who are being forward-thinking enough to embrace it.”
One first prize will be given for each category.
Each winner will receive a CitNOW Awards trophy and an experience voucher, which will be shared in the case of a prize going to multiple individuals.
The deadline for entering the CitNOW Video Awards is Saturday, April 30.
The awards ceremony will be presented following a networking lunch on Wednesday 6th July at 195 Piccadilly, the home of BAFTA.
