Karzoom and Mazda UK have teamed up with Emily Steel as their new brand ambassador.

Not only is she the youngest ever athlete to join the new TV series as a gladiator, she is also juggling her third year at Loughborough University where she studies sport and exercise science full time.

Karzoom founders Mike and Melanie Fazal have known Emily - who has a background in competitive swimming, and is now a full-time elite CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting athlete - from a young age and are also Loughborough University alumni.

“To be selected for the new TV series at such a young age is a phenomenal achievement and we wanted to help," they said.

"So, we are providing, in partnership with Mazda, a new Mazda 3 to assist Emily with her mobility needs so that she can more easily get to all the various competitive and social media events that she needs to attend as well as the demands of her studies."

As part of her role Emily will be involved in the marketing of Karzoom’s car subscription offering and attending a number of events in conjunction with their Karzoom dealer partners into 2024.

Peter Allibon, Mazda UK sales director said: “We were delighted to be given the opportunity to provide Emily a new Mazda car to help her embark on this exciting new journey.

"Having such a young, talented and dynamic ambassador of the Mazda brand will also help us reach new audiences that Emily will undoubtedly attract”.

Supporting the handover of the new Mazda 3 to Emily was the team from Perrys Motor Group's Preston Mazda dealership including Peter Ogden, Paul McAndrew and Kish Patel and representing Mazda UK were Philip Eastwood and Ed Weetman.
