AM100 car dealer group Vertu Motors plans to operate all its dealerships under the Vertu banner by April 2025, ditching the Bristol Street Motors and Macklin Motors brands, to enhance marketing efficiency and drive cost savings.
Vertu's beginning almost two decades ago was founded on Bristol Street Motors, the decades-old AM100 dealer group which publicly-listed Vertu acquired in 2007 from Paul Williams some three months after former Reg Vardy executive Robert Forrester and his team completed Vertu's IPO.
In 2010, Vertu Motors expanded into Scotland, where it trades under the Macklin Motors brand whose dealerships represent Ford, Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, Nissan, Peugeot, Vauxhall and Toyota.
