FMG has announced details of a partnership with Xpress Centres which it says is already reducing repair times and making vehicle repairs more convenient for drivers.
Xpress Centres specialises in same-day non-structural repair of accident-damaged vehicles across a network of repair centres located at Tesco Extra sites across the country.
John Keeton, operations director at fleet management firm FMG, said: “FMG have a passion for delivering service excellence and providing customers with a comprehensive array of repair options. We work hard to identify companies, like Xpress Centres, who share our commitment towards continual improvement and innovation.”
Xpress Centres focus on minor accident damage, repairing and refinishing up to four panels, including roofs and bonnets, wings, doors, quarter-panels, bumpers and tailgates.
The Xpress Centres network will be 20-strong by the end of 2017, with plans to expand to 100 centres by the end of 2019.
Craig O’Shaughnessy, managing director at Xpress Centres, said: “Our premium fast-track repair solution is a perfect fit for around 40% of all accident repairs and, with driver aids reducing accident severity, non-structural repair volumes continue to grow.
“Our point of difference is the reduced cycle time we bring to FMG, as well as an enhanced customer experience. The car is repaired at the most convenient time and centre to the driver, and most often the repair is completed within half a day.”
Keeton added: “Our partnership with Xpress Centres enables FMG to further enhance two of our core specialisms; reducing repair times and delivering service excellence in the incident management arena. Customer satisfaction is our best indicator of success and, with NPS scores of over 80, the feedback has been excellent.”
