Parts distributor Euro Car Parts has announced that 14 of the 27 branches it acquired from KPMG, the administrators for Unipart Automotive, are open for business.
Two further branches, Braintree and Penzance, will also open on schedule by end of October and mid-November respectively, having created more than 200 jobs.
The former Unipart sites now operating as Euro Car Parts branches are: Avonmouth, Ayr, Bangor, Bath, Dundee, Enfield, Folkestone, Grantham, Kendal, Loughborough, Sittingbourne, Swansea, Worthing and Wrexham.
Martin Gray, chief executive of Euro Car Parts, said: “Along with Braintree and Penzance, these 14 ex-Unipart locations will bring our industry-leading levels of service and availability to thousands of new customers.
“We have worked hard to get these new branches open as quickly as possible, and the fact that we’ve recruited so many ex-Unipart employees is a great advantage. Their aftermarket experience and local knowledge will help the new branches to hit the ground running.”
