Vertu Motors’ Bristol Street Motors brand has created a marketing launch video for its Dacia franchise which asks shoppers to guess the price of the new Sandero hatchback.
Bradford was selected by Bristol Street Motors as the city to launch the Dacia Sandero, which has a starting price of £5,995, with some local shoppers over-estimating the cost by up to £27,000.
Bradford’s Pulse Radio drive-time presenter, Jacqui Blay, asks a cross section of customers how much they thought the Sandero range’s starting price was in the video, with many reacting with shock or surprise when the real price was revealed.
Carl Purcell, general manager for Bristol Street Motors Renault dealership in Bradford, said: “The different models have received excellent reviews which all make reference to the price-tag attached to such an attractive design and quality vehicle.
“I would encourage customers to come and visit a Bristol Street Motors dealership to take a closer look and test-drive any Dacia model. I think they will be notably impressed."

A clever piece of marketing, Dacia have the same problem SEAT had a number of years ago, and this is to get people into the car. Once people touch and feel it and combine that with the value, it will appeal to the value concious as opposed to badge snobs.
