Citroën UK, which operates more than 230 dealerships in the UK, has appointed Manheim Aftersales Solutions (MAS) as one of its preferred suppliers of electronic vehicle health check (EVHC) software.
MAS will be providing advanced customer relationship management and workshop control systems, as well as sophisticated dealership analysis tools and the ability to share best practice across the dealer network.
EVHC has become a key part of the aftersales process, and most dealers believe improving service absorption is a key part of business profitability.
Philippe Hamadouche, head of service operations at Citroën UK, said: “We have set ambitious targets across our dealer network in 2013 and we see the introduction of standardised EVHC systems as key to helping our dealers to deliver on those goals.
"We believe that MAS’s approach will help us to further improve aftersales performance across the network and we look forward to seeing this in action, both from a customer experience perspective and also in dealership revenue generation.”
Tim Baumfield, managing director of MAS, said it will work with the Citroen dealers who adopt its real-time, read and write EVHC interface through its implementation to ensure a smooth transition and continued use of the system by their employees.
