Land Rover wil continue with its title sponsorship of The Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials for a further three-year term – up to and including the 2013 event.

The SUV manufacturer has been the title sponsor of the event since 2005.

"There is a natural affinity between Land Rover and equestrianism – competitors and spectators alike are at the heart of our customer base – requiring vehicles with the all round capability that our products are renowned for," said Anthony Bradbury, marketing director, Land Rover UK.

"What better place to showcase them, than in the stunning surroundings of Burghley House?"
