Benfield Motor Group has been awarded best van centre in the UK by Volkswagen for its VW Van Centre in Newcastle.

The title was awarded at the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles 2008 Awards of Excellence in Monte Carlo.

John Spreadbury, Benfield Corporate commercial brand manager, said: "I'm pleased to see the hard work of the Benfield Van Centre team being recognised by Volkswagen following a hugely successful year for the dealership in the previous 12 months.

"We have enjoyed a long standing relationship with Volkswagen and were recently awarded the contract to become the Newcastle trade parts specialist for all Volkswagen group brands – including Seat, Skoda, Audi and Volkswagen."
