Lexus’ IS model will retain 54% of its value after three years and 60,000 miles, according to analysis from CAP.

The CAP figures for its rivals, the BMW 320d ES and Mercedes-Benz C-Class C220 CDI SE, are at 47 and 40% respectively.

The Lexus IS 250 has been given a 50% residual value rating by CAP, compared to 45% for the BMW 325i SE and 42% for the Audi A4 2.0 FSI SE.
