Alfa Romeo UK has appointed Christopher Nicoll (37) as its new managing director.

Nicoll was previously managing director of Fiat in Switzerland and Austria. Prior to joining the Fiat Group, he was at Land Rover in Germany and in Austria.

Nicholas Bernard (31) has also joined Alfa Romeo UK as its new marketing director.

They will both be working with Alfa Romeo UK sales director, Mario Di Maria, who joined the company in 2002.
