Steve Nash, BMW GB’s aftersales director and the chairman of the Institute of the Motor Industry, is to deliver the opening address at this year’s AM Aftermarket Conference.

He will outline some of the major challenges and opportunities facing dealers in the aftermarket today, and identify what he believes will be the most successful strategies.

Also booked to appear are Peugeot’s dealer council chairman David Manchester of Charters Peugeot, who will explain how Peugeot dealers have achieved success in attacking the market for older used cars, including some strategies and tactics that dealers of all franchises can apply.

Peter Smyth, a director of Swansway Garages, which has been hugely successful in selling service and maintenance plans to their customer base, will reveal the secrets of that success and show delegates how they can achieve similar – or better – results.

The conference, Ways To Win More Customers And Keep Them Coming Back, takes place on Wednesday, March 29 at the Quadrangle in Oxford and is expected to be over-subscribed. Don’t miss out by delaying your application.
