Rupert Keane has been appointed managing director at automotive risk management solutions and intelligence provider, CAP.

Keane joined CAP as sales and marketing director in 2002 with a strong information business track record, including the former Reed Official Airline Guide (OAG).

Keane's promotion follows outgoing managing director Ian Bissell's move to the divisional post of information director at Emap Communications. From there he will retain close involvement with CAP.
