Orders books for the Nissan Murano and 350Z Roadster are set to be opened on October 15.

One version of the Murano will be on sale priced at £29,800. Like its coupe twin, there will be two versions of the 350Z Roadster available – the standard model priced at £26,000 and the ‘GT Pack’ at £28,500.

Deliveries start from March 2005 but numbers are limited.

When the order books open Nissan dealers will explain features of the cars to each customer. When the order is placed, a deposit of £2,000 is taken and a number in the waiting list is allocated by head office. The customer will be sent a confirmation of his or her order and will also receive regular updates from Nissan about the progress of their car.

When Nissan opened its order books for the 350Z coupe last year, all 450 cars were sold out in 58 minutes.
