New innovations include an advanced vehicle configuration system, which will allow customers to see a virtual car in different paint and trim colours before they order. M-B Salisbury will also be overhauling its systems and processes in to improve customer service and boost efficiency.
Aftersales facilities include a 14-bay workshop featuring high-tech diagnostic equipment and facilities ranging from MoT testing to air-conditioning servicing. Service team leaders have been appointed to oversee their own group of technicians and provide a single point of contact for customers.
“This is the start of an exciting new era for Mercedes-Benz of Salisbury and we're confident customers will notice a big difference from any car dealership that they have been into before,” says David Weston, general sales manager.
“We've also assembled a new sales team to take the business forward and deliver a service commensurate with the facility we are now trading from.”
The site is the latest in a new generation of Mercedes-Benz showrooms being built around the country.
