Job Summary
Swanstaff are looking for a dependable Class 2 Driver to join our client in Dartford.
Responsibilities
* Safely transport luxuary goods and materials to various locations
* Load and unload cargo securely
* Conduct routine vehicle inspections for mechanical and safety issues
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Class 2 or delivery driver
* Valid CPC and tacho card
* Understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws
* Physically capable of loading and unloading cargo
* Strong communication and customer service skills
About Us
Our client has a fleet of 26-ton rigids and have a mix of experienced drivers, young and old.
New hires undergo a two-week training program, paired with an experienced driver. The client provides a company mobile, truck-specific sat nav, a smart uniform, PPE, and secure on-site parking.
The deliveries span across the UK, offering a varied workday and the opportunity to travel beyond local routes. Start and finish times vary, with early starts more common between 4am - 6am.
We understand drivers have many opportunities in the UK, so our client offer competitive pay with a solid base salary, daily overtime, and a generous annual bonus. You’ll also receive:
* 20 days of holiday, plus Christmas off
* No weekend or bank holiday work
* Company pension and other benefits
* £2000 salary increase upon successful completion of training
* Salary increases tied to achievements and further training
Pay: £30,000 - £33,000 per year
Additional Benefits:
