The sole UK distributor for Cadillac and Chevrolet in the UK has kicked off a brand new partnership with the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA).
Ian Allan Motors expects to retail the iconic Corvette and Camaro models to the stars of the sport following the signing of the deal which sees the retailer added to the union’s list of recommended sales outlets.
Kevin Hurl, dealer principal at the Virginia Water-based business, said: “Look around the average football club car park and its apparent that many players will have more than one car and our range of vehicles certainly will appeal as offering something different. We are the sole UK retailer after all.
“Footballers these days come from all over the world and are used to driving left-hand-drive product, so that won’t be an issue for them either.”
All of Ian Allan Motors’ Cadillac and Chevrolet vehicles are fully type-approved for the UK market and come with a comprehensive 3yr/60,000-mile manufacturer’s warranty.
Through the PFA deal football stars past and present will benefit from the terms of the ‘approved retailer’ scheme.
Hurl said that there was some benefit to having recognised faces behind the wheels of the cars it sells. He added: “In collaboration with Cadillac Europe, we are privileged to be given this unique opportunity to offer a stunning range of vehicles direct to PFA members, through our dedicated team of sales and aftersales professionals.
“We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship.”
