Review
Mazda is giving its top-selling Premacy a host of upgrades to attract more new car buyers.
The mini-MPV will now be available with a new 2.0-litre powerplant, which gives 130bhp and 0-62mph in 10.7 seconds. The 1.8-litre petrol and 2.0-litre diesel will still be available.
The front end has the now-familiar five-point grille, under spoiler and sharper headlights. At the rear there are new combination lamps. The top-of-the-range Sport is available in a new Starry Blue Micra, Glacier Blue Metallic or Eternal Red.
Suspension tweaks give a better ride while increased body stiffness means better handling.
On-the-road prices for Premacy start at £12,995 for the 1.8 GXi and stretch to £15,495 for the 2.0 Sport.
