Although based on the Qashqai, the revised X-Trail looks and feels a more rugged vehicle than its sibling.
It’s solid to drive with limited body roll for its size, and the Expedition pack includes a reversing camera which makes parking a doddle.
The interior is spacious and feels hard wearing, and the versatile boot has plenty of space.
