eBay Motors Group reveals fastest selling used EVs in April

The Volvo C40 has topped the fastest selling used electric vehicles in April, according to the latest data from eBay Motors Group.

The C40 took an average of 11.5 days to sell, while second place was taken by the Audi Q8 at 14 days and the Tesla Model 3 took third with 17 days.

The top 10 fastest selling used EVs in April range all the way from small city run-arounds and family cars to SUVs, high performance models and even light commercials.

The rich mix of vehicle styles and brands all found buyers in under 25 days, outpacing eBay’s overall April Market View average of 39 days.

Lucy Tugby, eBay Motors Group marketing director, told AM: “This speed of sale for used EVs was achieved against a backdrop of ongoing price volatility which saw dealers reduce their risk exposure by stocking 5% fewer EV units than they did in March.

“April’s fastest seller was Volvo’s C40 coupe styled SUV, averaging just 11.5 days in stock as buyers snapped up nearly-new models making their debut on used car forecourts.”
