HEVRA, the Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Repair Alliance, has launched a bodyshop membership programme designed to support workshops in efficiently handling electric vehicle (EV) repairs while maintaining high industry standards.

As the EV market expands, accident repair centres require specialised knowledge, tools, and support. HEVRA’s membership provides exclusive benefits to ensure members remain up-to-date, streamline repairs, and enhance their industry reputation.

Membership benefits include unlimited technical support via telephone, email and WhatsApp, vehicle-specific repair guides, HEVRA branding and certification to enable the bodyshop to promote its EV repair specialisation, and recommendations and access to specialised EV repair tools.

Craig Scragg, technical services manager at HEVRA, said: “Members benefit from a network of like-minded professionals committed to delivering high-quality service.

"The collaborative nature of the network fosters referrals and recommendations, further strengthening the credibility of bodyshops under the HEVRA banner and providing hands-on support and resources to help bodyshops build their reputation as EV specialists.”

By joining the HEVRA bodyshop membership, workshops can confidently undertake EV repairs, enhance operational efficiency, and gain a competitive advantage in the growing EV market, he said.
