Santander Consumer Finance (SCF) is driving innovation in its online retail offering with the launch of its i-click online document signature software platform.
The software, developed in conjunction with Dealflo, has been rolled-out across its dealer networks and was released following a successful trial with dealers.
It enables customers to ‘click-to-sign’ finance agreements and replaces SCF’s existing signature pad solutions.
Using the new i-click web-browser-based platform means there is no need for dealers to install any external drivers, software or other applications, SCF said in a statement.
Santander Consumer Finance’s commercial director, Stewart Grant (pictured), said: “The launch of i-click is the latest stage of our investment programme aimed at enhancing the finance sales and fulfilment experience for our dealer partners and their customers.
“It has been designed to be simple and easy to use whilst also ensuring that the appropriate ‘know your customer’ checks are carried out in a secure fashion. Feedback from our pilot has been very positive with a full roll-out scheduled during mid-February.”
Having launched i-click within the point of sale environment, SCF's statement said that it will now embark on delivering it as part of its remote, digital customer fulfilment capability.
