G3 Vehicle Auctions has added two new storage facilities on four acres close to its £12 million purpose-built Castleford headquarters.
The new site extends the business’s secure storage capacity on the M62 corridor by a further 29% and was driven by a surge in used cars in January.
Rob Argyle, G3 chief financial officer, said: “One of the principal benefits of being a truly independent business is we can be agile when it comes to reacting to the market. Therefore, in response to a bumper start to G3 with both stock levels and new vendors, we have invested in further land to continue offering a marketplace that services our customers’ needs with the ‘best in class’ values we always strive to deliver.”
G3 offered over 30,000 vehicles in 2023 for the second year in a row. G3 Vehicle Auctions operates from a 14-acre purpose-built facility opened in 2021 and offer vehicles on behalf of vendors including Motability, CarShop, Zenith, Europcar, CarSupermarket.com and Hertz, alongside many of the UK’s motor finance providers.
