Moneypenny and Inductus have joined the list of suppliers offering services for free in a bid to help car retail businesses cope better with the impact of COVID-19 cornoavirus.

Customer contact management specialist, Moneypenny is offering a free Digital Switchboard service to retailers whose reception teams can no longer be office based or they do not have the technology to manage the switchboard remotely.

Inductus, meanwhile, is offering its mobile friendly Censeo Auditing tool for free, enabling remote personnel to inspect essential security, health and safety and operational areas in real-time with geolocation for proof of event.

Moneypenny chief executive, Joanna Swash, said: “We want to help companies during this challenging time, so we’re offering our Digital Switchboard services for free.

“Many are struggling to deal with the shift in call volumes due to the rapid switch to home working, and we’re on hand to make sure we can provide solutions to help maintain exceptional customer service.”

Moneypenny’s Digital Switchboard system is fully automated and is able to answer high volumes of calls, directing callers to the appropriate person or department.

Stephanie Vaughan-Jones, commercial manager at Moneypenny said: “Many companies across the sector have put remote working plans in place in record time. 

“Understandably, a lot of that focus has been on providing laptops and shared access to files, rather than the logistics of call handling and telephony.

Inductus’ offer of coronavirus crisis support similarly acknowledges the impact of remote working.
