Secure Trust Bank is aiming for growth in its motor finance business with two senior appointments.
Estelle McConnell (pictured right) has been appointed to the newly created role of head of sales - broker, online and key accounts.
She has worked in motor finance for many years, most recently heading up a regional sales team for Close Brothers Motor Finance managing dealer and broker relationships.
McConnell was previously business development manager – motor for HBOS for over five years.
Ciara Raison (left) has joined the bank in the newly created role of head of dealer sales where she will be responsible for growing market share within the franchised and independent dealer sector.
She was previously head of sales for Close Brothers Motor Finance and has also worked for Royal Bank of Scotland, NatWest and Aviva.
The appointments coincide with a growth in motor finance balances reported by the bank in the first half of 2018 to £272 million, compared with £258.4m in the first half of 2017.
