Aston Barclay’s SAS training partner company Break-Point has taken the remarketing firm’s marketing efforts to the ‘top of the world’ by planting a branded flag at the North Pole.

Break-Point director Jason Fox – star of Channel 4’s hit show SAS: Who Dares Wins – reached the North Pole as part of the Borne Arctic Challenge and marked the challenge by recognising the independent remarketer whose staff him and his team has been putting through their paces.

Foxy completed the week-long mission with nine other team members, including England rugby World Cup winner Will Greenwood, to raise £750,000 for the Borne charity to fund extensive research into preventing premature birth.

Foxy took an Aston Barclay banner with him which he proudly hoisted in temperatures of -40 degrees.

“Foxy has worked in the special forces but we know from his updates that this is one of the toughest and most rewarding things he has ever done,” explained Neil Hodson, Aston Barclay’s chief executive.

“Break-Point is a fantastic partner, training our teams in the importance of team work, setting a clear mission and the vital importance of communication. Everyone who has attended the training courses has come away speaking highly of Foxy and we are proud to have such a passionate ambassador for our brand.

“The team has helped put the charity well on its way to reaching its fund-raising goal and the Aston Barclay team has been proud to support Foxy along the way,” he added.

The charity Foxy and the team are raising money for, Borne, are a medical research charity that helps with premature births to save lives, prevent disability and create lifelong health for mothers and babies.
