Online vehicle auction company CD Auctions has been acquired by SMH Fleet Solutions and Hudson Kapel owner Arctos Holdings.

The deal follows Actos Holdings’ recent £16m investment in their brand new 40,000sq-ft facility on Thurleigh Airfield Business Park in Bedfordshire.

The Arctos group is a provider of services for vehicle manufacturers, franchised vehicle dealerships, leasing and rental companies and vehicle fleet providers of all sizes.

Hudson Kapel is already a  remarketer of nearly new damaged vehicles along with SMH Fleet Solutions.

Now Corby-based CD Auction joins the group, having offered customers a swift route to market for over 25 years.

Arctos Holdings said in a statment that the combined group now offers “a totally comprehensive and unrivalled range of services to the motor industry”.
