The Warranty Group has announced that Richard Green has joined the executive leadership team as chief executive officer of its UK and European businesses.

Green is responsible for managing overall business growth, client relationships and new business development for the company’s activities.
 
“Rich has a proven track record in the consumer and commercial sectors of the financial services industry throughout the United Kingdom and continental Europe as well as internationally,” said Nelson Chai, president and chief executive officer of The Warranty Group.

“Leveraging his experience and leadership, The Warranty Group will build on the strengths of our European business to provide stellar products and services to our clients and their customers.”

Formerly with CIT International Finance, Green held multiple leadership roles in its European business before ultimately being named president CIT International.

Prior to CIT, he held leadership roles at General Electric.

Green joined The Warranty Group on Monday, replacing former European chief executive Gary Jennison who left the organization last week.
