Sam Pettengell will be joining MHA MacIntyre Hudson from May 18 as a director in Steve Freeman's specialist motor sector team, based out of our Milton Keynes' office.

She will head up MHA's motor advisory business, working alongside Freeman and the specialist UK motor tax and audit teams.  

Globally she will support the business's international motor clients in liaison with our colleagues at Baker Tilly International. 

Pettengell (pictured) will also work closely with the firm’s head of corporate finance, Laurence Whitehead and the corporate finance teams using her specialist motor expertise to grow its presence and levels of activity in motor sector M&A activity.

Pettengell has spent the majority of her 15 years' post-qualification career in various financial and operational managerial roles at Vauxhall Motors. Her recent experience in the business management team at Vauxhall Motors included carrying out dealer risk and business reviews and due diligence audits, leading dealer strategic and operational reviews for both Vauxhall Motors and for dealers, supporting dealers in terms of their acquisition and/or exit strategies and the related investment modelling, funding and deal process, leading restructuring and refinancing projects on behalf of motor funders and banks and leading the provision of accounting, reporting and tax advice to dealers.
