Stoneacre extends footprint with acquisition of Peterborough Isuzu dealership

AM100 heavyweight Stoneacre Motors has acquired a new dealership owned by Close Motor Company in Peterborough, adding Isuzu to its portfolio.

The newly acquired dealership is located on Newark Road, next to the existing Stoneacre Peterborough SEAT and CUPRA dealership.

“This acquisition strengthens our promise to exceed the expectations of every customer, offering more options and the same high level of care our customers have come to expect.”

At the start of this year, Stoneacre added to its portfolio of Mazda franchises at its Halifax and Dewsbury dealerships.

The two Yorkshire franchise points added to its existing portfolio of Mazda franchises in Newcastle, Gateshead, Doncaster, Harrogate, Hull and Liverpool.)

Stoneacre also became Nissan's new franchise partner in Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire following its acquisition of family-owned Trenton Motor Group. The acquisition included several dealerships, notably two Nissan outlets in Grimsby and Hull.
