Snows Volvo Southampton strengthens sales team

Snows Volvo Southampton has strengthened its sales team with the appointment of new sales manager Jaimie Maddison.

Maddison, who previously managed Snows’ Lexus dealership in Hedge End, has transferred to Southampton to lead the team. Second-in-command is Aidan Rutland, who brings a wealth of experience from Snows’ Volvo dealership in Winchester, which celebrated its 40th anniversary with Volvo in 2023.

Rutland now serves as assistant sales manager at Southampton, overseeing a dedicated team of five sales executives: Daniel Barlow, Jack Bristow, Wayne Haddon, Elise O’Sullivan, and Luke Penny.

Snows Volvo Southampton, located in Millbrook, opened in August 2021 following a £3.1 million investment, offers both new and used car sales, as well as full manufacturer servicing and parts.

Maddison commenting on the growing popularity of Volvo cars, said: “Volvo’s reputation for comfort, reliability, and safety has always been strong, but with the introduction of exciting new designs, we’re now attracting customers from other premium brands. People who may not have considered Volvo a few years ago are now excited to own one.”

Among the new vehicles coming from Volvo in 2025 is the updated XC90, the Swedish manufacturer’s flagship hybrid SUV.

“We’re excited about the new XC90 joining an already fantastic range,” said Maddison. “We’re also offering some very generous deals on both new and used Volvos, so there’s no better time to visit the showroom.”
