Smart UK has selected Ohme as its exclusive home EV charging partner to align with its focus on offering innovative and intuitive electric vehicle solutions.

As part of the partnership, Ohme chargers will be featured in Smart retailers backed with a comprehensive service, including charger installation, retailer training, and ongoing support.

Ohme’s chargers are designed to optimise charging costs by using real-time grid data. Compatible with all UK energy tariffs, including those from Octopus and OVO, they adjust charging schedules to tap into the lowest-cost energy.

For example, fully charging a Smart #1 (62kWh battery) with an Ohme charger on a dynamic EV tariff like Intelligent Octopus Go could cost just £4.34. Additionally, Ohme’s chargers feature a solar boost function for users with solar panels.
