Marshall Motor Group's property director has left the AM100 dealer group after eight years to rejoin his former boss Daksh Gupta.

Simon Page, who had been at Marshall since 2016 and had spent 15 years overseeing TrustFord's properties before that, has joined Huws Gray Group, the building materials retailer which Gupta heads.

Page said on LinkedIn that he will miss his whole team but is "already enjoying the challenge and meeting new people".

Simon Page, who had been at Marshall since 2016 and had spent 15 years overseeing TrustFord's properties before that, has joined Huws Gray Group, the building materials retailer which Gupta heads.

Gupta joined Huws Gray Group in December 2023, after leaving Marshall's chief executive post following its acquisition by Constellation Automotive, which also owns Cinch, BCA and WeBuyAnyCar.

Marshall's chief executive currently is Martin Casha, who had previously driven Pendragon's strategy alongside Trevor Finn.

In the summer Marshall's commercial director Adrian Wallington also left the motor retailer to take on a new role at Huws Gray Group.

And group operations directors Jamie Crowther and Jon Head also left the top 10 AM100 group after more than a decade each with the business.
