Porsche Retail Group (PRG) is to acquire Porsche Centre East London and Porsche Centre South London from Lithia UK.
The move by the wholly-owned retail arm of Porsche Cars Great Britain, which is subject to regulatory approval, is expected to be finalised in early 2025, growing Reading-based PRG’s network to seven Porsche Centres in the Greater London metropolitan area.
This acquisition will see the two dealerships added to PRG’s existing portfolio, which includes Porsche Centres in Mayfair, West London, Hatfield, Guildford, and Reading.

Adam Flint, managing director of Porsche Retail Group, commenting on the expansion, said: “We are excited about the opportunity to grow our network and continue delivering exceptional service to our customers. We look forward to welcoming our new colleagues to the Porsche Retail Group family.”
The acquisition reinforces Porsche’s strategy to create world-class retail destinations that integrate physical and digital experiences. Porsche’s Destination Porsche Centre model was unveiled as part of a new corporate identity (CI) launched back in 2019 with a strategy to focus on delivering a personalised customer journey using innovative retail formats to elevate the overall brand experience.
“London is an exciting global megacity, and we look forward to further developing the Porsche brand representation and customer experience in this important market. At the same time, we look forward to a continued strong partnership between Porsche and Lithia across the UK including the evaluation of a future growth opportunity in line with our strategic network representation plan,” said Krishan Bodhani, CEO of Porsche Cars Great Britain.
It comes just weeks after Lithia sold its Porsche Centre Bolton dealership to Bowker Motor Group. Bowker already has another Porsche dealership at Preston.
AM understands that Porsche reviewed its representation after Lithia's acquisition of Pendragon's dealerships left the AM100 top 10 dealer group operating 11 sites, almost one in every four of the UK's Porsche franchised dealerships.
After the sale to Porsche Retail Group is finalised Lithia will retain seven Porsche Centres, at Cambridege, Colchester, Nottingham, Stockport, Sutton Coldfield, Wilmslow and Wolverhampton.
