UHY Hacker Young has appointed Ryan Wear as its new audit partner as the firm plans for further growth in 2021.

With experience in looking after dealer groups having previously worked at KPMG and Azets, Wear joins the automotive team based in Manchester.

The automotive advisory firm said it has plans to grow its current 75 automotive clients, with businesses requiring specialist advice from their advisors amidst the on-going coronavirus pandemic.

David Kendrick, national head of automotive at UHY Hacker Young, said: “Ryan joining the team is a fantastic addition for us.

"Not only does he bring sector experience, he will enable the continued growth of our business, providing proactive specialist advice to our client and contact base.

"COVID has been a challenging time for us all, however one thing we have learnt is the importance of specialist and commercial advice which Ryan will certainly bring to the table.”
