Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has appointed product marketing director Finbar McFall as its new customer experience director following the announcement that Fiona Pargeter is to leave the car manufacturer.

McFall will take immediate responsibility for the customer experience function after the former Land Rover and Jaguar public relations (PR) director made the decision to leave after 10 years with the OEM.

“During her tenure she has successfully led the global PR campaigns for more than 40 new Jaguar and Land Rover products including the Range Rover Evoque, Jaguar F-TYPE and the World Car of the Year Award-winning Jaguar I-Pace. We wish Fiona all the very best and success for the future.”

McFall will take interim responsibility for the JLR customer experience function, in addition to his current role, from January 13.

Andre Oosthuizen, JLR's Jaguar communications directorJLR described him as “an expert in the business”, having worked in various global marketing and communications roles, adding: “He is well placed to lead the team while a replacement for Fiona is found.”

Also effective 13 January, Andre Oosthuizen joins JLR as Jaguar communications director, reporting to McFall.

Oosthuizen has a wealth of experience in strategic brand management and experiential marketing, according to JLR, and arrives from his role as senior vice president of Hagerty, where he was responsible for brand strategy, audience development, and PR.

He has previously held senior marketing positions at Porsche in the US and Dubai.
