Former Jaguar managing director Geoff Cousins has been appointed as chairman of automotive and aerospace quality management service provider G&P.

The quality management provider, which works closely with key automotive and aerospace manufacturers and associated supply chains to improve quality and efficiency levels, is entering what it called “an ambitious growth phase” and Cousins was identified for his experience in key leadership and business transforming roles for global brands.

In a career that started in finance, Cousins has worked in key leadership and business transforming roles for global brands Jaguar Land Rover, including CFO North America before leading Jaguar UK as managing director.

Cousins said: “Having worked closely with G&P for the last few months, I have been very impressed by its commitment to delivering a world class quality management service to its clients and by its future vision to ambitiously grow and diversify the company.

“In this new position I will look to use my experience, expertise and critical thinking to help drive the strategy and action plans, as well as being a proud and visible ambassador for G&P.”
