Kia Motors UK has appointed a multi-national marketing manager, Madeleine Kjessler, as brand communications manager.
With 15 years in the industry, Kjessler's previous role as head of marketing at Skoda Australia represents a spell with one of the various brands she has worked in across the Volkswagen Group.
Kjessler will be joining a brand communications team of four, but also the wider marketing team of fifteen.
Her responsibilities will include above the line media activity to raise consumer awareness of the brand and managing Kia’s main marketing agencies.
Kjessler said: “After previously working in the Swedish and Australian markets, I very much look forward to working within the UK market and the different challenges it will bring”.
Kia Motors’ head of brand communications, Jane Fenn, said: “With her extensive experience and knowledge of the automotive industry, she will be instrumental in helping develop and lead communication plans for increased Kia brand awareness”.
