Martec Europe has strengthened its business with the appointment of Marc Matthew MSc as non-executive chairman.

Matthew joins the automotive retail training business following his role as executive chairman of Lifestyle Europe and as the main board director for Retail Automotive Alliance.

A statement issued by Martec Europe said: "Marc brings his knowledge and experience to Martec as the business is shaping up for challenges facing the retail motor industry as we approach 2020. 

"Having previously been a main board director of the IMI as well as being a Chartered Director with the IOD Marc is well placed in improving the Industry, the results in it and the experiences for customers, which is a career long mission shared by Marc and by Martec Europe."
